Some people think that the amount of noise people make should be controlled strictly, while others say that people are free to make as much noise as they wish. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

3. In schools and universities, some girls tend to choose arts subjects, but boys choose to study science subjects. What are causes?

4. Human society has made great technological progress in the last hundred years. Some people think this has negative effects on our life. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

5. What are the causes of water scarcity? What are the solutions to this problem?

6. More and more companies are allowing employees to work at homo. Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

7. Some people think news have no connection to people’s lives, so then it is a waste of time to read the news in the newspaper and watch television news programs. To what extent to you agree or disagree?

8. Some people think giving aid to poorer countries have more negative effects than positive effects. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

9. There are many animal species extinct in the world nowadays. Some people say that the countries and individuals should protect these animals from dying out, while others say we should concentrate more on problems of human beings than on those of animals. What’s your opinion?

10. Advertising discourage people from becoming different individuals and look the same. Do you agree or disagree?

11. Many museums charge people for admission while others are free. Do you think the advantages of charging people for admission to museums outweigh the disadvantages?

12. Nowadays, traveling by air is becoming cheaper and bring freedom, but it also brings some environmental problems. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

13.  Today prison is the most common solution for crime. But some people think that it would be a more effective way to provide them with better education to prevent them from becoming criminals. Do you agree or disagree?
