1. Multicultural societies are mixtures of different ethnic groups. Some people think that the advantages of multicultural societies out weight the disadvantages. Do you agree or disagree?

2. Some people believe that there should be a single international language. Others believe that would make it difficult to preserve cultural identities. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

3. Some people think that foreign visitors should be charged more than local visitors when they visit tourist attractions in another country. Do you agree or disagree?

4. It is claimed that public museums and galleries are not necessary because people can see the historical objects and works of art in those places on the Internet. Do you agree or disagree?

5. In some countries, traditional arts are becoming extinct. Some people think that we should try to keep them. What is your opinion?

6. As the number of cars increases, more money has to be spent on the road system. Some people think that the government should pay for this. Others, however, think that car users should pay for the costs. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

18. Children are often influenced in their behaviors by other children of the same age. This is called peer pressure. Do the disadvantages of peer pressure outweigh the advantage?

19. More students choose to go to another country for higher education. Do you think the benefits outweigh the problems associated with it?

20. Some people think that distance learning has more advantages than schools so schools will disappear from our lives. What is your view?
