Part2
Describe a time when you saw children behave badly in public.
You should say:
Where it happened
What children was doing
How others reacted to it
And explain how you felt about it
Usually, I prefer to travel by high speed train which is safer and time-efficient. Because it’s generally not necessary to arrive at rail stations too early in advance. Once on a high-speed train, I sat next to a mother with two children. At the beginning, they acted normal, maybe they were fitting into the new environment. Ten minutes later, one of the children which is a baby started crying, the other one which is a seven-year-old boy began to run in the aisle and every now and then he would return to his seat and went out again. Because my seat was on the aisle, so I had to keep making room for him. It’s really annoying because I was trying to read a magazine to relax a little bit. At first, I was patient, I thought it was not easy for a woman to take care of two children. I was thinking, maybe I will face this kind of situation in the future. I convinced myself to have a sense of empathy. But eventually I pissed off, because the mother didn’t say anything and didn’t punish her boy, she just took it as if nothing had happened. Other passengers were also upset because the little boy was making too much noise. I mean, It can be understandable if children who are below four to five years old are misbehaving, because they don’t know how to behave outside the home, but parents have to punish their children who are above six years old if they embarrass the parents or disturb others in the public place.

Part3
1.What bad behavior do children usually have?
Aggressive or violent behavior. It is okay for children to get angry. But if that anger becomes violent or turns into aggressive behavior, it’s an issue. And there’s disrespecting elders. When your three-year-old daughter talks back to you, it may seem funny and adorable. But when your seven-year-old girl shouts out a ‘no’ every time you tell her to do something, it can get on your nerves.
2.How should parents stop their children from behaving badly in public?
I think the first thing parents need to do is to become role models. They have to change their bad behaviors to change their kid’s bad behaviors. Cause children of all ages learn by observation and imitate parents. There should be no double standards. And it’s essential that parents should not just stop children from doing something bad but also tell them why it is bad to do it. Disciplining is also necessary, parents should think well before determining the consequences for their children’s misbehavior.
3.Are parents today stricter than those in the past?
On the contrary, I think parents are more lenient these days. Because most families only have one child. Parents always want to give all the love they have to their children. Sometimes they even spoil their children. Like parents will buy anything their kids want. And when children make mistakes, they don’t punish them. I think it’s inappropriate.
4.Who’s influence on children is more important? Friends’ or parents’?
It depends, in the early years, parents definitely have more influence on their children. Whether by providing children with their first steps in education, like learning to read and write, or teach them the moral values, parents can shape children’s personality and beliefs for many years ahead. But as children grow older, they spend considerably more time with their friends. They think friends are mirrors of themselves. They prefer talking stuff with friends instead of parents.
