  The chart below shows the numbers of registered road vehicles in use in a European country.
  Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
  Write at least 150 words.

  * 柱图涉及时间变化,为“两时间点”题型,重点在项目间、两个年份间数据的“比较”。

  Shown in the bar chart and the table are the number of five categories of registered vehicles in 1996 and 2006, and the percentage change of each category over the same time.
  【主体部分第1段】上升种类
  Private cars and other types were the two leading categories, both witnessing an increase in the number. Specifically, the former stood out, as it dominated in automobile industry, with more or less 20 million. Though there were merely over 1 million other types of vehicles registered, the number experienced a greater increase than the former one did, 58% compared with 24%.
  【主体部分第2段】其他种类
  By stark contrast, the scenarios regarding the remainders were rather different. The following two categories - motorcycles and lorries – were roughly 0.6 million fewer than other types, and their numbers both showed a fall, with the decrease rate of the former (40%) twice larger than that of the latter (20%). Lastly, it is noteworthy that the decade saw no change in bus, coach, and taxi, whose number ranked the last, with 0.1 million in both years.
