我们在平时的写作和口语中，经常会想到一些中文的习语，想表达又怕不准确，其实这些翻译没有那么复杂。这里的习语通常包括成语、俗语、熟语、格言、歇后语、谚语、俚语、行话等。那我们今天就来积累一些中文习语的正确翻译吧～

　　先看一组常见的也是最基本的词句：
　　爱屋及乌 Love me, love my dog.
　　百闻不如一见 Seeing is believing.
　　说曹操，曹操到 Talk of the devil and he comes.
　　留得青山在，不怕没柴烧 Where there is life, there is hope

　　第二组：
　　比上不足比下有余 worse off than some, better off than many=to fall short of the best, but be better than the worst
　　不以物喜不以己悲 not pleased by external gains, not saddened by personal losses
　　大事化小小事化了 try first to make their mistake sound less serious and then to reduce it to nothing at all
　　这三个基本都是用简单的英文保留了中文的基本意思，其实平时我们有类似中文时，也可以尝试这样翻译。

　　拆东墙补补墙 rob Peter to pay Paul
　　好了伤疤忘了疼 once come to shore, one prays no more
　　谋事在人成事在天 Man proposes, God disposes.
　　前人栽树后人乘凉 One sows and another reaps.
　　这五句的翻译既保留了中文俗语中的押韵，又把中文意思表达到位了。

　　第四组：
　　功夫不负有心人 Everything comes to him who waits.
　　好事不出门 坏事传千里 Good news never goes beyond the gate, while bad news spread far and wide.

　　这一组挺适合用在我们写作中，比如在教育类、媒体类等话题中。

　　第五组：
　　赔了夫人又折兵 throw good money after bad
　　巧妇难为无米之炊 If you have no hand, you cannot make a fist. =One cannot make bricks without straw.
　　屋漏又逢连夜雨 Misfortunes never come singly. =When it rains, it pours.
　　塞翁失马焉知非福 Misfortune may be an actual blessing.
　　杀鸡用牛刀 break a butterfly on the wheel
　　这一组的翻译挺传神的，没有逐字翻译，但保留了该有的味道。
