2014年4月5日A类雅思小作文

小作文: line chart :Government spending on retirement pensions, education and health from 2001 and projected to 2051.

解题： 各条线总体趋势要介绍，并且要对三者之间的大小关系进行对比；注意将来时的使用和多样化表达。客观表达It is expected/projected to increase/decrease而不是单纯的be going to来描述。可以参考C5T1和C9T4。 

 

2014年4月5日A类雅思大作文解析

TASK2：an increasing number of people change their careers and places of residence several times during their life. Is this a positive or negative development？

解题：此为2010.6.19日原题重现。 类似范文C6T4上的真题；这道题的范围较剑桥系列的题目范围缩小，侧重的是人们喜欢换工作和居住地。可以说：利大于弊，弊大于利或利弊相当。

换工作和居住地的对个人和社会好处：

1 friendship--给一个人一个很好地机会去meet more friends

2 personal development--所有这一切都会conducive to one’s personal development， e.g. Deepens one’s thoughts and makes us more open-minded;

3 society—change—nothing endures but change—积极改变是推动社会不断向前发展的动力，而换工作和改变居住地通常是positive changes/get better。

换工作和居住地对个人和社会的弊端：

1. pressure—如果不能适应新工作和新居住地，压力大。

2. personal development—有时对个人发展也有弊端—uncertainty/instability/insecurity/can hardly get achievement/worry/fear/depression等负面情绪都会阻碍个人发展。

3. society—对社会的弊端：job-hopping 可能让一些企业垮掉(enterprises go bankrupt)，从而影响social economy 而更换居住地使得social management变得困难。

 

2014年4月12日题型预测如下：

小作文：关注pie, table，line或者组合图。            

大作文： 科技/环保; 广告媒体类；动物和犯罪类；教育类

1. Advertisements play a major role on TV in modern society. Despite the benefits of such information, many people criticize the role of TV advertising. To what extent do you agree or disagree with their view?
2. The news media play an important role in modern society. Is the influence of the news media positive or negative?
3. Some people think that students should only study science subjects. Other subjects are not important to them. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
4. Nowadays, cheap air travel is increasingly popular in the world. To what extent do you think its advantages outweigh its disadvantages?
5. The government, private companies and individuals should all be responsible for protecting the environment. Do you agree or disagree？
6. 6. International tourism has become a huge industry in the world. Some people argue that the problems caused by international tourism outweigh the benefits. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
7. 7. In the developed world, average life expectancy is increasing. What problems will it lead to individuals and society? Suggest some measures that could be taken to reduce the impact of ageing populations.
