　　talking n. 说话；谈论，这里指的是随意说，而不是正式的说，就是就像普通谈话那样，这个taking是个猜词题，它指的就是非正式的英语，从上一句也可以看出，正式英语衰落，非正式的英语崛起。
　　talking is triumphing over speaking, spontaneity over craft.
　　这里其实是两个句子：talking is triumphing over speaking, spontaneity is triumphing over craft.
　　spontaneous adj. 自发的；自然的；无意识的。—— spontaneity n. 自发性；自然性。
　　craft n. 工艺；技能；技艺。
　　speaking n. 演讲。
　　triumph over sb/sth：打败；战胜
　　【逻辑梳理】这里的talking就等于spontaneity，就是由心而发，没有任何雕琢的，这样就是非正式的，就是像随便的谈话一样。而不是，很正式的研究，或者精心研究过以后，再说出来。所以，这里的talking就是informality的意思。就是拉shi和出恭的区别。前者就是非正式的，上不了台面的，后者是书面语，雅称。
　　总结：第三段是说，60年代以后，人们开始追求非正式英语，也就是上文说的，这种反文化运动是造成正式英语衰落的原因。在作品中都极力追求个人化的、口语化的表达，认为，这才是最真实的。
