  2022托福阅读&写作5月考情分析


  【托福阅读】


  在过去的5月当中,一共有7场线下考试,分别是4日、14日、18日、21日(上午场&下午场)、25日;29日。虽然受到了疫情的影响有部分的城市考位取消,但是我们目前还是收集到了34篇文章。从考察文章的内容来看,基本上还是延续了以往的考察重点,其中历史考古类占比最多,占到19篇,其次是生物类文章,一共有11篇,地质、天文、气象类文章各一篇,最后艺术类文章考察了1篇。分别的比例见图1。从学科类别上来看,人文社科类占比55.59%,自然科学占比32.35%,自然科学占比8.82%,艺术类占比2.94%。具体比例见图2。

  从这个月的考题重复情况来看,本月阅读依旧是AB卷为主,其中以往旧题重复概率依然很高,基本上每场都是一个新老题的大拼盘。例如5.4日考题“18世纪欧洲人口大爆发”这篇文章,就重复了19年8月25日考题,“北美殖民地的粮食”这篇,重复了21年9月18日考题等等。我们汇总得到,其中 19年至21年的旧题重复率占到最高,零星有一些17.16年的旧题。因此同学们在备考时候可以重点关注19年以后的考题。
  从题型分部角度来看,目前句子简化题有中兴的趋势,很多同学反映现在每篇都会出现一篇句子简化题,而另外一个变化就是修辞目的题,不再单纯的考察例子的作用,而会出现考察修辞手段,特别是(emphasize)这类的考点,所以同学们在题型方面的准备时候也可以再加强长难句以及修辞目的题考察手段类的题型的复习,做到有备无患。


  【托福写作】


  忙碌的五月结束啦,虽然由于疫情,很多地区的线下考试都频频取消,但本月依然有7场TOEFL线下考试,分别为5月4日,5月14日,5月18日,5月21日上下午场,5月25日及29日。接下来,让我们一起来了解一下本月托福写作的考情~
  【综合写作】

  ● 考情分析
  在5月托福考试中,综合写作涉及到了三类文章类型,包括事实判断、利弊分析及方案假说,问题解决型的文章没有涉及。其中“利弊分析”类的文章考试频率最高。同时,生物类依旧是考试频率最高的话题。
  值得注意的是,5月21日上午场的综合写作题目是一个2019年考过的的综合口语题,曾经在家庭版考试中也有出现过。阅读部分主要谈论了垂直种植的好处,包括:1. 可以赚钱;2. 可以减少环境污染;3. 可以节省居住空间,听力部分对这些好处进行了反驳。现在托福口写共用题库的情况越来越频繁了,各位同学平时在备考时也可以口写一起准备哦~


  【独立写作】
  ● 考情分析  独立写作7场考试涉及了生活、教育、朋友及环境四类话题。其中,生活类考题考试频率最高,出现了4次,其余三类考题各出现1次。7场考试中6场都是老题,其中5月29日的考试在上个月月末刚刚才考过。只有5月18日的考题算是一个新题,但是此题其实是2020年1月5日的独立口语考题,所以很多学生应该并不陌生。本月独立写作考试的大部分题目还是有一些难度的,具体的参考解题思路如下:

  环境
  Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Because economic growth is so important for modern societies, economic development should not be slowed down by concerns about the environment.
  参考思路:disagree
  让步: economic growth is important. However, developing economy at the expense of environment will instead cause more negative effects on economic growth itself.
  Body1: environmental pollution exerts a greatly negative impact on the health of employees who are the prerequisite of economic growth.
  Body2: it is environmental problems that have caused considerable economic losses.
  2022.5.14(2019年3月3日,2016年9月10日)
  教育
  An elementary school wants to increase the time on educating students technology (such as computers), which means that students will have less time for the study of music and art. Do you think it's a good idea and why?
  参考思路:disagree
  Body1: spending more time on studying music and art helps young students cultivate aesthetics.
  Body2: students could relax themselves better through taking more art-related classes.
  让步: Although using technology has been a basic skill in the modern society, increasing the time on educating young students technology may lead to more negative consequences. (e.g. be addicted to playing games, suffer from health problems such as myopia)

  生活
  Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Some people prefer to go shopping in a big supermarket, while others prefer to go shopping in small stores near the community they live in. Which do you prefer?

  Body1: it is more convenient to shop in a big supermarket than in a small store.
  Body2: shopping in a big supermarket can help us to save much money.

  生活
  Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People should take time to relax with hobbies or physical activities that are very different from what they do at work.
  参考思路:agree
  Body1: only through taking part in activities having nothing to do with their work can people relax themselves totally.
  Body2: people can get some inspiration from hobbies different from what they do at work.
  2022.5.21下午(2021年家庭版考试)
  生活
  Imagine you have two friends who deal with problems in very different ways. One of your friends believes that laughter and taking things lightly (not too seriously) is the best way to find a solution for most problems. Your other friend believes that it is better to be serious and not take things lightly, even when dealing with very small problems. Which approach do you prefer? Why?
  参考思路:take things lightly
  Body1: taking things lightly can help to solve some problem more efficiently.
  Body2: being too serious to all things will put much pressure to ourselves or even to people surrounding us.

  Which one of the following qualities do you think is the most important for determining whether a friendship between two people will last a long time? Why?
  A. They always help each other in a crisis or when something goes wrong.
  B. They have similar interest and similar views on important topics.
  C. They trust each other completely
  参考思路:B
  Body1: two people with similar interest would spend more time together, contributing to a long-lasting friendship.
  Body2: it is more possible for two persons who share similar views to avoid conflicts which may negatively affect their friendship.
  让步:providing help or mutual trust is important as well. However, similar interest and opinions are the origin of a friendship and also the cornerstones of maintaining a friendship.
  2022.5.29(2022年4月30日,2015年3月14日)
  生活
  Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?Nowadays more and more people spend too much money on their pets, although there are better uses for this money.
  参考思路:disagree | 拆分people
  Body1: students nowadays do not spend too much money on their pets.
  Body2: there is every reason to suggest that workers always expend wisely on raising pets.
  Body3: it is less possible for older people to spend lavishly on keeping pets.
