     都说父亲是山，真正拥抱了，你才能够感受到父爱的沉重；父亲是一本厚重的书，并不是谁拿来都能看得懂，只有细细的品味过里面的每一个字，才知道父爱浓浓。在父亲节(Father’s Day)即将来临之际，专专老师特意翻译英文小诗一首，献给所有的父亲们，祝他们身体健康，节日快乐！

 

Though New at Fatherhood

自此为人父

Though new at fatherhood, you're surely not

A novice at the art of giving love.

自此为人父，舔犊情意浓

With quiet tact you find the perfect spot

Among the needs of those whose hearts you move.

拙言隐睿智，静也动人心

I never feel you slight me, even though

At times your time for me of need is slight.

视儿若珍宝，己欲似浮云

Though working long and hard, you seem to know

Just how to make our son feel loved each night.

披星又戴月，愿儿倚梦眠

These gifts you give I know cannot come easy,

Although they seem to flow so easily.

雕玉虽无痕，妙手来锤炼

You have a lovely air that's light and breezy,

That says: I get from you more than you see.

拂面似清风，儿沐父爱中

And so I am in awe of what you do;

You love so well that I love you well, too.

父爱稳如山，儿情绕山流

You are the best dad that a kid ever had.

您是孩子心目中的爸爸。

You have been there when I needed you.

在我需要您的时候，您总是在那里。

You have always been so patient with me.

您对我总是那么地有耐心。

To father--from your favorite string bean.

You are a little different from the rest of us, but that's ok. You are still my dad.

Father's day is a time to remember all the good things that dads do for us.

父亲节是忆起爸爸们为我们所做的一切的时刻。

I love you more than anything else.

我爱您胜过一切。

Thanks for helping me through the tough times.

谢谢您帮我度过许多艰苦的时光。

How could I be so lucky to have a dad like you.

我竟是如此幸运，能有像您这样的父 亲。

All my love to the dearest father in the world.

将我全部的爱，献给我最亲爱的爸爸。

Have a very happy father's day.

This is for all the things that you have done for me.

I owe all of my skills of fatherhood to you, dad. Happy father's day.

I didn't realize that being a father would be so difficult. It makes me appreciate you all the more.

我不知道做一个父亲竟然会这样不容易。这使我更加感激您。

Now that I am a father, I can see what a good job you did in raising us.
