2013年4月托福独立作文考试特点:

独立作文：

    1）话题方面：根据每月话题更替规律, 2013年4月题目考查媒体类和社会类的可能性。

    2）题型方面：2013年1~3月份对于主流类题型考查较多，如agreement/disagreement，并且题目涉及到现在和过去的某一社会现象对比。4月份考题题型方面继续延续这种题型的可能性很大。

2013年4月托福写作预测如下：

独立作文：     

1. younger people spend more time improving the world than in the past , disagree or agree?

Disagreement:

1. a. Youngsters confront serious pressure, including high living expense and rare job opportunities, so that they are not energetic enough to care about other matters ;
2. b. Youngsters

2. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Young people today are less 

dependent on their parents than in the past.

   Disagreement:

1. Fiercer competition pose great threat to youngsters, so only relying on their parents can they be easily attain their goal;
2. Parents are more experienced in handling numerous thorny issues;
3. Admittedly, over-depending on their parents enables their children to be more fragile, but they can guide their kids to keep on the right track.

3. Do you agree with the viewpoint that people are now easier to become educated than in the 

past?

Agreement:

1. Advanced electric devices, such as the Internet, provide learners with more opportunities to get educated;
2. Fiercer competition has forced people to pursue further study to earn a living;

4. Nowadays, it is much easier to achieve success with help from one's family than what is like 

before.

1. People of high social status possess more resources that can be taken as the privilege;
2. Family members are willing to help their offspring for there is only one child in overwhelmingly majority families.

5. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: Teachers had a greater influence on young people in the past than they do today.

Disagree:

1. Teachers are proficient in summarizing the most useful points for students;
2. Teachers can morally guide the students;

6. Do you agree or disagree with the statement: Grandparents cannot give useful advice to grandchildren.

Disagree:

1. a. They are more experienced and sophisticated enough to provide their grandchildren with more precious suggestions;
2. b. They cherish their offspring so much that the advice they give must be useful.

7. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Students are more interested in 

politics today than before?

Agree:

1. a. The development of high-tech such as the Internet enables the students to be more accessible to political news;
2. b. The international exchange becomes so common that the students are nearly bombarded by those news;

8. Do you agree or disagree with the statement: It's much easier to achieve success without help 

from one's family than in the past.

9. Do you agree or disagree this following statement. Young people are likely to help people 

than in the past.

Disagree:

1. a. More criminals frightens people away from helping others;
2. b. It is not essential for people to give a hand for people enjoy a happier life.

10. The ability to read and write is more important now than in the past.

Agree:

1. a. Information explosion era requires people to be equipped with reading and writing skills;
2. b. Professional reading and writing skills will bring you more opportunities because those skills indicate that you are a knowledgeable one.
