1、What do you think is the biggest difficulty that college students meet? Living away from home, making friends or something else?
Well, difficulties vary from person to person, but generally, the biggest problem lies in living far away from home. Take myself as an example, I am the only child of my family, and I always live with my parents since I have entered the primary school. Therefore, I must know how to take good care of myself, including where to see a doctor if I am ill, how to do my bed and wash my clothes without a washing machine. Besides, I have to bear the suffering of nostalgia, which is very hard as this is the first time that I have lived with my roommates instead of my family.
All in all, living far away from home would definitely be the biggest difficulty for college students like me.
2、Do you think the purpose of entering university is to find a successful and promising job?
I definitely disagree with the statement. To find a career that is suitable as well as profitable is only a small part of university purposes. We attend university to learn a specific skill, to improve our comprehensive quality and to make different friends in order to enhance communicational skills. What’s more, the university is a mini-society; we need to learn some elective courses to broaden our horizon according to our interests. However, if we only focus on subjects related to the job in future, we will have a narrow choice in the talent market.
Therefore, having the only goal of finding a job when attend university, students will not only lose color of campus life but also miss abundant knowledge beyond our major.
