　　1.In

　　In一般指在大地方：如：When I was young, I lived in London.

　　In指在里面：There is a cat in the box.

　　In 指”在…范围内”，如：Shanghai lies in the east of China.

　　At一般指小地方：I arrived at hotel at 10pm.

　　At指“在…附近” 范围不明显：The ring is at the corner.

　　3.On

　　On 指“在…上面” 强调有表面接触：There is a laptp on the table.

　　On表示相邻关系：India lies on the south of China.

　　4.To

　　指“在…范围外” 强调不相邻：Japan is to the east of China.

　　at强调“点”，on强调“面”，in强调“在里面”，to强调“范围外”。

　　on the tree: 表示某物或某人在树上。

　　in the tree: 表示某物或某人在树上。

　　on the wall：表示在墙的表面。如图画，黑板等

　　指“在…上方” （与below相对）：I live in an apartment above the shop.

　　6. Over

　　表示“在…正上方” （与under相对）：there is a ball hanging over my head.

　　7. Behind

　　指“在…后面”：A boy stands behind a tall tree.

　　8. Between

　　指“在…两者间”：The building stands between the park and the shop.
